We design participatory processes for social transformation that help organizations, municipalities, and communities navigate complexity, foster collaboration, and initiate sustainable change. With experience in co-creation, systems thinking, and a deep understanding of real-world dynamics, we support transformation where it matters most: on the ground.

  • Designing with and for people experiencing change.
We work at the eye level with the people experiencing change and take their perspectives as our starting point.
  • Embracing complexity
Instead of offering easy answers, we highlight interdependencies and support informed decisions.
  • Integrating responsibility
Ecological and social sustainability are not add-ons, they are a core part of our design processes.
  • Enabling inclusion
We create structures where even quiet voices are heard and inclusion is not just talked about, but shaped together.

Shaping transformation that lasts

Our qualitative research uncovers unspoken needs, conflicting interests, and local potential, whether in a village council, school setting, or large NGO. We conduct interviews with local stakeholders, perform contextual inquiry and participatory field formats to understand everyday practice, and map relationships and dynamics through actor-network mapping and system mapping. We also draw on desk research and cultural probes to deepen our understanding.

In early stages, we explore alternative futures and critical questions using adaptive scenarios, and in more open-ended contexts, we draw on speculative approaches like Dragon Dreaming. We develop narratives that reflect lived realities and use storytelling to anchor abstract findings in concrete experiences. Together with those affected, we ideate solutions in co-creation workshops

Our insights are validated through surveys and on-site feedback loops to ensure that participation formats and collaborative processes are concrete, inclusive, and effective in practice.

A selection of our projects

We collaborate with research partners, public administration, and civil society actors who want to put transformation into practice—not just plan it. Our tailored formats provide orientation, enable meaningful participation, and embed lasting processes—such as digital-analog learning paths for sustainable living, participatory youth mapping in rural areas, or tools for hybrid environmental seminars. This is how we combine social responsibility with design clarity and local impact.
