About Us
Our interdisciplinary team works at the intersection of research, design, and social change. We’re based in Spreefeld, Berlin—an eco-social cooperative that, like us, stands for new ways of living and working together. Some of us teach, others are still studying. What connects us isn’t our job titles, but our shared values. We are designers, researchers, hackers, critics, visionaries—and above all, enablers.
We work in role-based, flexible structures that take caregiving, uncertainty, and diverse life realities into account. Our diversity isn’t a bonus—it’s the foundation of our work.
Alexander Müller-Rakow
Alexander has a background in product design with a focus on experimental interaction design and design methodology. Since 2017, he is a professor of interaction design at HTW Berlin, working at the intersection of technology, education, and social change.
